FAQs

Here you will find the answers to all of your budding questions. If you don't find the answer you are looking for, please fill out the contact form at the bottom of this page and I will get back to you!

How Far Out Should I Book You?

The simple answer here is as early as possible. Most couples book an officiant 6-12 months out. In addition to "reserving" me for your big day, having more time allows us to get to know each other and for me to create a more meaningful ceremony script. It also allows for more time for edits to said script if you would like anything changed.

Can We See The Script Beforehand?

Yes, of course! I actually request that all couples review the script and provide me with feedback at least a few weeks before the big day. I want to make sure the ceremony is exactly what you imagine.

3

Is There A Deposit Required?

In order to move forward with a full service booking, I will send you a short agreement to sign. I also ask that couples provide a 50% deposit upfront. The remaining 50% will be due 15 days before your big day.

4

Do You Obtain Our Marriage License For Us?

No – In California, both parties to the marriage must appear in person to apply in order to get a marriage license in California. I will ensure that the license is signed and submitted after the wedding is over.

What Types Of Ceremonies Do You Perform?

I can perform any type of ceremony. Whether you  want a religious ceremony, secular, or a mixture of the two, I am happy to accomodate you. It is your big day and I am there to help you be married in whatever way you and your fiance deem fit.

Where Do You Perform Weddings?

I am able to perform weddings throughout the State of California. If the wedding is in the greater Los Angeles area, there is no additional cost for travel. For any wedding outside of that LA bubble, the cost of travel will be added in to the price.
